Yep.

And as I think I mentioned yesterday with respect to a certain other poster, reading the OP's threads is like watching an episode of "Cops!" because it reminds me that my life could be a whole lot worse.

So, you know how to sit on a bike saddle?

smd4 06-29-23 02:21 PM

I hear some bike saddles get really slippery in the rain.

Everything is more slippery in the rain.

It likes to draw arrows. As if we could not figure out which part of the stock photo was the saddle.

Time to change the kitten litter.

I don't know for who, but that is a perfect title for a memoir.

Biking in the rain
It's not really a big deal
So what, you get wet

Pretty good, but missing the road muck flinging back from the bike in front of you. Even if he has full fenders, without a buddy flap you're getting that spray right in the face.

I'll add to my previous comments to say that with the summer heat I have been wishing for rain during my morning trail rides. The cooling would be a nice relief. The surfaces on my local trails stand up well to a soaking, even standing water. We get very little mud. So when it is hot a cooling rain can be a plus.

Me getting wet isn’t the problem.

Chuck M 07-08-23 11:24 AM

All I know is the same thing happens to me when I ride in the rain or run in it. I get wet and there isn't much I can do about it.

Raindrops keep falling on my head
But that doesn't mean my eyes will soon be turning red
Crying's not for me
'Cause I'm never gonna stop the rain by complaining
Because I'm free
Nothing's worrying me

Maybe Toonses is the OP.

It’s no big deal for me getting caught in the rain while cycling. Although, I never go cycling when it’s actively raining out. I live in the tropics, so it’s not a cold rain. I do remember those days living in Maine, and always carried a water proof rain coat in my rear pocket. I don’t carry any rain gear here. I smile and get wet:).

Been caught in a number of very hard thunderstorms in Thailand over the years. I usually just find a place to wait it out as they don't last for too long.
