Waking the sleeping dogs

I have a new pastime, waking the vagrants on the Greenway. They usually are sleeping under the bridges, so the echo must be incredible for a hangover, when some one come rolling through and yells as loud as they can. I've heard the grumblings in my wake.

You sure you want to stir up the wrath of people with nothing to lose?

just leave em alone. you're doing nothing worthwhile - just being a prick. i hope someday you develop a mental illness, lose your job, wife, house, etc. when you have no place to go we'll see how you like it when i yell in your ear. where do you people come from? and how do we stop your type from reproducing?

What are you going to do when their new pastime involves throwing rocks, or other things, at the ******* who yells and wakes them up?

Gosh and thought I was mean as a kid, since I used to wake up moths.

I'm all for arming all the "bums" with paintball guns and telling them next time you're due to come through.

Those people have lost their jobs, family, life, everything. They have health, mental, and morale problems bigtime. They're often obnoxious, but mostly they just need help - and a decent night's or day's sleep, apparently that's a big problem for the homeless, just finding a place they can sleep without being harassed.

**** you.

There is no evil like inflicition of suffering upon others.

Perhaps tomorrow you can make it up to them by bringing them some bottled water and granola bars.

It might repair your karma, and perhaps impress the "damsel in distress" you write about in your thread labeled, "Im such a boy scout."
