Bicycle Catalogs

Hey ~ I understand most bicycle catalogs are archived on the internet through various databases, but I thought I'd ask very generally if anyone collects original/physical copies of them? I have a few - common companies (Cannondale, Jamis, Trek) - from essentially the first decade of this Century - and I thought I'd ask before I chuck them in the recycling.

Thanks in advance.

If you don't get any takers on this, try in the Classic & Vintage sub-forum. Some of those that seem to be really die-hard old bike fans and collectors seldom get seen here and other sub-forums.

I'd hate to toss those old catalogs too. There are quite a bit that can't be found easily on the web.

Before you toss them scan them. I have gotten a lot of good information from old catalogues someone scanned and posted.

Scan the Cannondale ones and send them to
https://vintagecannondale.com/catalog/
These guys actually have catalogs from every year, but the image quality for their early 2000's catalogs are really horrible and basically unreadable. Like this one for example:
https://vintagecannondale.com/year/2001/2001.pdf

Oh that's a good point! I am very familiar with vintagecannondale.com and yeah...didn't really think about the ones that have difficult to read images/graphics/data, etc. I will check each of the years I have and see if I can't help them improve on some. Thanks.

Thanks, I'll try the C&V sub forum.
