I love the color. I heard their prices have gone up quite a bit too.
Top of the line Tarmac is close to $8400.00
Kids 24" are $360 starting, which is a little steep being most kids are lucky to ride it a year.
I love Specialized, but they're gonna price themselves out.
2007 will be the year to buy the leftovers at a great discount

I've seen this posted a few years ago. Definitely a hoax. Another clue is the reference to November 31st in the text of the link.

- nah, it's one of the 'concept' artwork pieces from Specialized's site (can't find the URL right now)...

- what i don't understand from the 2006 model info is whether the new bikes are the ENTIRE line, or replacement models for existing models, etc... this is confusing...

- for example, the Roubaix series isn't in the 2006 lineup?

- a little clarity on presentation might help... (but then again, i've emailed Cannondale twice about a misspelling on their corporate info page, and they've never responded or fixed the typo; guess they don't speak English up there in Pennsyltucky?)...

- and yea, the Specialized MSRPs are kinda whacked...

<sigh> i guess that IFbike in the LBS is looking better and better...

So uh, how exactly do you lock these things up? Let me guess, revolutionary magnet technology that glues your bike to the rack, right?

The Specialized bike in the first post is a hoax. I posted pics of these in my blog about 6 months ago.

The original page it was published on says "Loof Lirpa" publishing? That's "April Fool" backwards...

Sorry - they ARE cool bikes though and NOT entirely impossible considering materials technology - even if the design isn't particularly practical.
