shopping for bike stuff online
I'm new to buying parts, accessories, etc. on the internet and I've found a couple of cool sites, but I'm sure there are lots more. What are your favorite places to shop in cyberspace?

I'm going to order some things from rei.com in the future. |

www.supergo.com, www.nashbar.com, www.performance.com are all owned by the same parent corporation. I've had good luck with all three. Good selection, good prices (online discount coupons), and quick and affordable shipping. I've stayed mainly with those three so far because they are pretty big in the online business. I've also ordered from www.coloradocyclist.com but not in awhile. If you're looking for something just check them all and see where the prices are the best. Keep in mind you'll likely pay state sales tax with the first three because there is probably one of their local shops in your state.

I just finished piecing my dream ride together with parts (new and used) from all over North America. I did most of the buying through eBay without any trouble.
Two caveats 1.) Check the eBay Sellers Feedback, even if they don't have a lot but it's all good that's OK. 2.) Shipping can take a while. It's not uncommon for a week or two to pass before your stuff arrives unless you splurge for the expidited shipping. |
