Fun new uses for a u-lock
Well, besides locking up your bike, what do you all do with your u-locks? I've seen some mention of self-defense in the SS/FG forum, and just the other day, I broke up a cat fight and chased the neighbor's cat with mine! Must've been quite a sight. So, any other intriguing uses for a u-lock?

Bikes: 70's Frejus fixie conversion with cheap wheels, a fabulously ugly Sterling conversion with no wheels (currently), an all-campy Frejus road bike, and a bomb-proof Performance hybrid (anyone need a bike?)

Oooh! You could hang it on you dorm room door knob to signal to your roommate that you have a "special friend" over. That is, if you live in a dorm room, have a roommate, and ever invite over "special friends."
