My ride today.

Was out riding on the American River Trail today. It's a paved trail for joggers/biker/walkers along the river. There were alot of bikers and poeple out today. I come up on my school's cross country team out practing. They're taking up the ride side of the path, so i go to the left of them. They have a dog that runs w/ them and was about 15 ft in front of them, w/ no leash. I pass them, and am about to pass their dog, when here comes a bike coming the other direction. So I move a little to the right, and am now prob. 4 ft. behind and 2 ft to the left of the dog. Then the dog turns to the left, and I almost clip it. Its face was probably 2 inches from my chainrings. Scared the crud out of me.

Just had to vent my anger for unleashed dogs.

Other than that it was a nice ride. 67 miles roundtrip. Saw tons of bikes, a few recumbents, saw a tandem recumbent. Saw a lady running w/ a leashed horse

Well, thanks for listening
