Prayers going out
to our brethern on the Gulf Coast God be with you all.

yes.....

Thank you much! Prayers are appreciated... This may be "the big one," the likes of which we haven't seen since the early '60s, and the likes of which New Orleans may have never seen in living memory. Time will tell..
|
forecast for New Orleans:
Tonight: Very windy with bands of heavy rain showers along with some thunder. Low 79F. NE winds at 35 to 50 mph, increasing to 70 to 90 mph. Rainfall over two inches. Winds could occasionally gust over 100 mph. Tomorrow: Showery rains containing strong gusty winds and heavy downpours at times. High around 85F. Winds NNE at 70 to 90 mph. Rainfall over two inches. Winds could occasionally gust over 100 mph. |
No doubt about it. The Big Easy is going to get smoked. Anyone in that area, hang in there and brace for impact. Hope you come out unharmed and not too waterlogged.

Last year I lived through Charlie, Frances and Jeane so Big Easy, you hang tough and I hope you get a lot of help with the recovery effort.

hope y'all make out ok. Marty |
Yall should have seen I-10 West (in bound to Houston). It was worse than typical rush hour, very scary. Saw four LA plates on my way to work this morning. Prayers go out to those that decided to tough it out. I also hope that those stay around here stay safe also.
