and yeah you're right about the Steve Bauer comsumer bike thing, I've found out a bit about it online.

This leaves me with 2 thoughts,

1 - the dude who placed the ad has a steve bower regular, not-road bike and is either confused about it's components or is flat out lying.

2 - the dude has a real road bike and is confused (or flat out lying again :p) about what it really is.

Either way Ive got my folks on the case and I will see what happens, (though it is looking doubtful right now).

argh sorry guys this was 'sposed to be a reply to the 'BAUER ROAD BIKE' thread, but I screwed it up.

I haven't spoken much english in the last few months .... can I use that as an excuse :D
