Anyone take a Trek Travel Bike Trip to Europe

We've been tossing around the idea of a trip next year (10 year anniversary). We received an email from our LBS about these Trek Travel trips (had not heard of them before). They are pricey but sound fun. Anyone ever take one? Are there other trips especially for casual cyclist?

Thanks - John

I can't answer you question, but I saw a brochure on them in the LBS a few months ago and it really caught my eye too.

Have you googled it? There are several operations offering supported bike tours. My parents took one to Europe about 15 yrs ago. They loved it so much they've done a different Europe trip every year since! After the 1st one they have done every one self supported. They usually pick an area, then find a commercial tour in the area and somewhat duplicate their route, figuring the research is already done.

Yep I did one this year for the Tour de France. It wasn't one of the listed ones, it was for those who were guests of the Discovery Team. It was fantastic.
