Krypronite locks
Alright, I hope that I'm not judged too much for my lack of common sense here, because I could really used any advice here.
I've lost my key for the my kryptonite lock which currently locks my back wheen to the frame of my bike. What can I do to break this, or get a replacement? I still have the receipt for my bike so I could prove that it's mine. who can break these things? |

It seems that you are not the first one to do this:
Kryptonite key replacement FAQ Registering your keys seems like a good idea. regards Dan |
Wow, Dan's advise sounds like the final word.
PS: If you are a bicycle thief, please do not read the next two paragraphs. If you ever lose a key or combination and have to cut through a lock, I suggest getting a hand-drill mounted cutting wheel at the hardware store and the jig onto which it mounts. If you have a battery operated hand drill, all the better. These cutting wheels go through any lock I have ever seen and it takes less than two minutes for the toughest lock. |
