What is the best way to lock up my helmet?

should I put the lock thru the vents? I don't want the helmet to get swiped, but I can't always bring it inside everytime either, does any one have any suggestions???

If you can fit the lock through the vents, do it. My helmet won't allow it. I'll carry mine most of the time, but if I lock it, I just run the lock through one of the helmet straps. If they cut the strap to get the helmet, it's pretty much useless anyway.

Kryptonite makes a very thin cable for saddles; it would probably work on helmet vents as well.

My helmet is pretty sweaty all the time and is startin to smell.

I assume every else's is the same.....?

Someone would steal this? Uh.....WHY!!!??

I run the cable lock through the straps and really have never worried about the helmet being stolen, when gloves, pumps, tool kits, etc. are much better theft magnets.

I have a small sheet metal T that you put through a vent, then your lock/cable goes through a hole in the long part. Bought them on eBay I think, but LBS or online LBS should have them. Only about a $1.50 US
