It's 1030 am EST on a Saturday (Why aren't you riding)

I noticed that there are 900+ current users/visitors on the forum at 1030 am EST on a Saturday.

Why aren't you out riding?

Here's my excuse: My wife is dying her hair and I need to watch our little bambino. Plus I overslept and didn't get with the normal Sat club ride.

What's your excuse?

Have a nice day!

I'm already back from a 21 mile ride I'm relatively new to road biking, so I'm still building my mileage up.

Time to get some work done around the house! Hope everyone gets out and has as beautiful a ride as I just had--temp could be a little cooler--my only complaint.

I'm waiting for my gf to get her butt out of the shower, come over, so we can spend more time back in bed watching spaceballs or maybe sincity again. Lazzzy day.

I'm into my second good day of recovering from a stomach virus. Lost around 10 lbs. in a week, but slowly gaining it back. Promised my wife I'd go with her to a local street festival thing today. Going to take it easy and build the strength back up with smaller, neighborhood rides before hitting the trails, which I may give a shot as early as tomorrow, but know my riding won't be up to par (which isn't so great anyway!)

I'm getting over a cold, stayed at work late last night, have to be there again at 2, and have a Therapeutics and Pathophysiology exam to study for. I did want to go for a ride really bad though.

I ride 5 days a week. Oops. Make that six. I just ran an errand. The question should be asked in two days is: It's 7:00 a.m. on a Monday, why are you in your car instead of on a bike?

Waiting for son #2 to get up. Maybe we'll go for a ride.

Already walked the K9 and cleaned the garage.

At work.
Have my gear, and if I finish what I need to, I'll ride after 5:00.
70 miles planned for tomorrow, so I'll get something in this weekend.

I played DD last night and didn't get home till about 4, whereupon my charge wanted food, so I made us fishsticks. I'm recovering from the fishsticks.

Just knocked out a solo century. Perfect day for it too, overcast, low 70's and just a hint of a breeze.

I went out today and saw probably 5 cyclist(tops), passed two guys going kinda slow, did a loop and went home.

I was surprised to see such a limited amount of cyclist today. Guess people need a break once in awhile.

On a side note, saw alot of joggers on the trails, made me want to go home faster...

I rode back from the car rental place at the airport... the taxi wanted 15 friggin dollars for a 8 mile ride to the airport yesterday when we needed to rent the car. I said BS!!!! My oldest boy (12) and I rode there, locked the bikes up to a railing in front of the airport with a big chain lock AND a cable lock and drove away. Saved at least 30 bucks in taxi fare!!!!

And if you do well, you'll get into a good law school. If you do well there, you'll get to take the bar exam. If you do well there, you'll get to practice law for 40 years.

The practice test is over. Get out and ride while you still can.
