Biking in Scottsdale

I am going to be coming to Scottsdale at the end of the month for work and was wondering if there are any bike shops that rent bikes? I would like to do some riding around Scottsdale, Phoenix, and maybe some trail riding depending on the bike I can rent. Also, any suggestions for have to ride routes?

I was there on business one time a few years ago. I rented a mountain bike for a week and rode every day and on the weekend. There is Papago park and a large mountain area on the south end of town. There are bike trails along the canals. I was riding along Washington to my hotel, and there were a bunch of hookers on the sidewalk. I ask one if she would like a ride on my handlbars, she was not amused.

Just check a phone book when you arrive. There are several shops that rent bikes.

If you can do the ride back to Tortilla flat some morning (it is out east of Mesa). It is a sweet ride and a good mixture of hills, plus a really cool desert lake with tall cliffs all around it.
