Converting mountain bike to stationary?

Okay, I'm a biking novice. What's the attachment called which can fit on a rear axle, lift the rear end up securely, and turn a mountain bike into a stationary one? And if they're any good, who sells em? Thanks in advance.

Blackburn Trainer

(there are other manufacturers also)

Mine is sooooo old and works great, but I never use it... I ride all year.
I use to use it as a Repair Stand on top of the work bench, then I bought a Repair Stand from PARK.

Here is a couple I found that look good, you can shift gears to add resistance.

I would have said a skewer by the question, but one should come with the trainer.
