I want to put a picture under my name on the little post deals, can anyone tell me how I go about doing that?

You can change the avatar as follows. At the top of the bike forums page is a white arrow pointing to Your Control Panel. Click on that. Then click on Edit Options. Scroll down to the bottom and there you can change the avatar. There is a default collection you'll recognise are used elsewhere by other members. You can also create your own. There is a limit on the size of an avatar you create, so I think you'll need to create it as jpeg. I think my one was 64x64 that I captured with a shareware utility called SnagIt. I then saved the image as a jpeg. When you creat your own avatar, you give it the name of the file and it get's uploaded. If the avatar is too big, I recall getting a message back from the server telling me so.

I seem to recall a minimum # of post required before you could get an avatar, but that was long ago and I don't know if it's still a requirement.

Nope, there is no minimum requirement for an avatar.

Go to your control panel, edit options. At the bottom of the page you can find the avatars.

I use caps for all of my work and usually forget to change it back.

ScubaGirl must be doing drafting, like me. I have retyped SO many posts because of all caps it's ridiculous.
