Anybody bought direct from Taiwan?
Has anyone here bought and imported a quality bike direct from Taiwan? If so, did you get what you wanted and save significant money? Any Taiwan bike shops, dealers, or agents that you'd recommend?

Are you talking about buying direct from a shop in Taiwan or trying to buy factory direct? You might be able to get something shipped from a shop in Taiwan but be prepared to pay the duty (11%), freight and make sure it's well insured when shipped. I very much doubt that you would even receive a response if you try to get something factory direct. If you do, any company worth buying a quality product from will respond to you by giving you their US agent or importers email because they will probably have an exclusive contract with that importer or agent that won'tallow them to ship directly to a customer in the US.
