Performance bike shipping to Canada

I would like to ask how long shipping to Canada usually takes for items bought from performance bike. I bought a few things back at the end of October and they still haven't arrived. The shipping times on the performance website says 7-12 business days. I've called Performance but they said they didn't get a tracking number from fedex. I've also called fedex but they couldn't track the package without the tracking number. Is this long wait normal?

Are you sure that they even shipped? I've ordered items from them before and if they were out of stock they just cancelled the order without telling me.

I got an e-mail after I ordered saying that the items shipped on October 26 by fedex. Even when I called them they said the order was shipped out.

No matter what email they sent you, if they don't have a fedex tracking number to prove they shipped - they probably didn't.

Ask them for a refund and if they refuse - contact your credit card company to process a chargeback.

I find it impossible to believe they wouldn't get e fedex number, so should you.

I called performance and the lady helping me called fedex to get some information. She couldn't get any information so she sent the package again. Hopefully I'll get it this time.

Stv

Yeah, my credit card was charged a few days after I made the order.

Next question, and did you get dinged with a Canadian customs fee? I just got some stuff shipped to the States because I am visiting for three weeks, but my next order will probably have to go to Canada.

I wasn't charged custom fees, yet. I might get charged when it arrives.

I ordered a full build kit ( no wheels) for a new bike I am having built. Ordered from ExcelSports, the package arrived here yesterday, less than two weeks ( I don't even have the frame yet!).

I was surprised that I did not get charged GST or PST and the customs fee was only $14.
