Who here has a Kona and which one do you have? Do you love it or hate it? And why?

edit: And if you can, share a pic of it!

I've got a '92 Kona Explosif, a '95 Kona Keiki, and a '97 Kona A'Ha. My handbuilt mtb is based on the dimensions of my Explosif.

I love the old steel Joe Murray Konas. I'm not so fond of the silly aluminum jump bikes they seem to be concentrating on these days.

I have a Jake the Snake. I love it. It's the ideal early season bike, when the roads are bad and the weather is crap. It gets a lot of attention as well, probably due to the obnoxious, day-glo green paint job. Even people with really snazzy road bikes think it's cool. A lot of people don't know much about cyclocross and don't know what it is.

Kona Dew Deluxe - other than the disc brakes (not needed for my use) it was GREAT! I only wish I'd bought the base Dew instead...

The bike that got me back into cycling is my 2001 Kona Roast. The battle ship gray one. I love that bike. Unfortunatly, it doesn't see much action anymore as I don't have the time to go mountain biking or freeriding as I've got liitle kids now. One day though, we will rip it up again. She sits locked up, high on the wall in my garage, giving me the evil eye as I mount one of my skinny tire *****es. I give her a little rub on the bottom bracket and say "Easy, my precious. One day soon, it'll be all about you again." She whimpers, sighs, and goes back to sleep, perchance to dream about drops, creek crossings, getting air and being the filthy dirty muddy girl that she is.

The only sticker on my car is a "Kona Factory Team" sticker.

'05 Kona Hoss Deluxe. Great Bike! Built like a tank!

I just put some 2.4" semi-slicks on it. I'm waiting next for a Surly Instigator fork to get in stock so I can turn it into an Urban Assault bike.

It's great that Kona has the balls to build bikes for bigger/heavier riders. The rest of the bike industry could take a lesson from them.

I have a Kona Smoke that I've turned into a serious commuter. I love the bike and the chro-mo frame. The all black look is just sinister!

People often walk up to me and ask how much I paid for it.

It's The Bomb.

'05 Dew Deluxe. It rocks! Love the handling, comfort, and disc brakes. If for some reason I had to cull my herd down to just one bike, this would be it.

Just a few weeks ago I picked up a 2006 Jake the Snake in day-glo orange. I love this bike and am using it for my winter commute, followed by some trail riding. The color is so loud I have named the bike "Deer Season." Will post pics in a little bit.

I LOVE THAT COLOR!!!!! I almost bought a Trek in that color but it had rim brakes and my fondness for a Caldera took over me instead.

Isn't that the bike that Raiyn wanted someday? I thought he might have mentioned that.
