i just go back and forth whenever i'm in front of my 'puter at work, so literially i'm checking it every few minutes or so. but i'm doing work at exactly the same time, so it's all good. i don't post as much as some people however.

Same here.

Since I spend the whole day at work on the computer, BF is always up in the background. Everytime I have a progress bar or have to wait for someone to send me something, I refresh the page(s).

Where's the multiple choice option?

I tend to go in spurts:

1. most common is every couple hours, but working to reduce to 1 hour/day

2. sometimes will only check in once a week. it mostly depends on how heathly I'm feeling

It depends. If at work... a lot. If at home... not so much.

I have been caught on it by co-workers on various times of the workday. I 'minimize' it on my screen. Might get me fired someday because of it

Do like I do. Switch to a left handed mouse, hide the mouse behind the monitor and learn to automatically return the pointer to the upper right corner. It's amazing how guileless you can look while your boss is walking towards you as you are clicking your mouse to close your browser.

I usually cycle through the tabs I have open in Opera, reloading pages and going to a different sub-forum if there's no new topics. I have three different forums I do that on, and I'm usually browsing and drooling at bike stuff or camera stuff also.

I used to also have a few conversation windows open at once, including IRC, but rarely anymore.

Let's see......the vast waste land that we call TV or something educational, entertaining, and sometimes sobering like BF. Bike Forums wins hands down. Daily or nightly as the case may be.

Every 2 to 4 hours. It really depends on how busy work is. But on average I bet 4 hours.

I use BF as my personal entertainment - educational interactive toy.

I can yell at the TV and not get an answer, but if I yell here I might get b#slapped or something.

It kills the numbness of suburbann living .... trust me ..... you do not want to live here.

Safe ... yes .... but too dull

Daily most times. Sometimes if I'm busy it may be a few days. This place is like my extended family.
