Check out this *&^@*(#'s ebay auction for a Fizik Vitesse saddle:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1

I will never cease to be amazed at human stupidity.

And he says that he'll hand-deliver it to NJ, but the auction is in Virginia?!

It is a little comedy in the auction description, I think.

Where is your sense of humor people? .... ah, gone. Just like the warm weather.

I need to fly south

Funny auction. With all the scams, stolen property, and flakey sellers/buyers, it is good to see somebody with a sense of humor.

I had some neighbors who fired shotguns in the air and burned a car, one New Year's Eve, and they never got evicted. That auction was pretty funny, and some of you need to invest in a sense of humor.

I found it amusing, but hey, it's all subjective right?

At the very least it grabs your attention.

I did a quick search for you on eBay. Unfortunately nobody is currently offering senses of humour.

S.A.D. really hitting you hard this year, is it Nubie. Hold fast little trooper, the equinox is nigh upon us and the days will be getting longer.

I thought it cute, too bad I'm, much closer to 50, ugly as sin and live in PA. I could stand to be wined & dined, if my wife lets me

Ebay: Pure Entertainment, nothing more

(although no one has commented on whether or not the saddle is properly priced; one might hazard a guess that bicycle saddles depreciate rather rapidly, even if removed in new condition?)

Actually it's the solstice that's coming up. Equinox is Sept 21 and Mar 21 +/- a day. The way that I remember it is: on the EQUinox, there is pretty much EQUAL amount of daylight and darkness for that day.

Or: "The solstice is the reason for the season."

I'm not surprised he has to advertise on Ebay for a date.

New Theory:

I think we've been duped.

Nubie = lawrencemew (the ebay seller)

By starting a thread in which he "flames" the ebay listing, he has generated more looks at his items for sale than if he had posted a spamming thread.

Ingenious!

HAH! I wish! That is truly ingenious...shows you how slow I am for not even thinking of it. If I thought anyone here was in the market for a Williams-Sonoma cutting board, I'd gladly post my auction here for more exposure.

Can you imagine?
"Get aload of this stupid *&^?! auction for this **%^? cutting board! How offensive! Who does this b*tch think she is?!"

Well, the seller doesn't have to be female to sell a women's saddle.

And, pray tell, how would you know about crazy females?
