RE:The Masked Rider: Cycling in West Africa

I read that one too but wasn't impressed. The introduction was pretty good but after that the book went downhill and stayed there.

My favorite cycling reads are:

Spokesongs by Willie Weir
Metal Cowboy by Joe Kurmaskie
Miles from Nowhere by Barbara Savage

I'm currently reading Dervla Murphy's 'Full Tilt' where aged 31 she cycled alone from Dunkirk to Dehli.

Well worth a read.
