Bike Trade

I need some advice.

A couple of years ago I bought a REI Pumori with disc brakes. It is a nice bike but I'm too frustrated with having to adjust the rubbing brakes and not having the technical capability to do so. I've tried learning several time and it just isn't sticking. I've posted it on Craigslist for a trade or sell and thus far I've received 3 different offers for exchanges on bikes that have V-brakes instead. These are the offers:

a Novara Aspen from REI that has been upgraded with
>Shimano LX derailleurs and Richey Pro Logic Stem and
>Handlebars...it also has a Rock Shox Judy front shock.
>It's in great shape with a few scrapes. I also have a
>Haro V-3 that I am in the process of putting back
>together. It also will be upgraded with either LX or
>XT parts. It has a few scrapes, but is an excellent
>bike. It has a Rock Shox Judy Fork. Would make a great
>bike and would come with everything to build it back
>up except cables and cable housing.

I have a 19" Aluminum KHS with mid to high end components with a
Manitu Mars fork. It has V brakes.

I can wait for other offers if you guys don't think this would be a fair trade but I'm curious what the pros here think.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Why don't you just return it? REI has such a great return policy - then you could shop around a bit more. If you're a member, they can look up your purchase history if you don't have your receipt anymore. That's probably what I would do. I thought about buying a bike from craigslist, but was really turned off when I agreed to meet a guy to look at his Trek 1200 and I sat waiting for him for 30 minutes. I felt like such an idiot.

This particular bike is about 3-4 years old. Returning it would be ridiculous.
