I notice that the prices on probikekit.com are way less than the cost of the same items at US shops. For example a set of Mavic Kysyrium ES wheels are only US750.00 + US15 + US85 special handling. Local shops are selling the exact same wheels for US1099 + shipping. This is a difference of approx US300.00.

Is there a catch to what probikekit is offering? Has anyone done business with them and can vouch for their offerings?

I recently ordered a DA group from them. They billed me the day they shipped and exchange rates were higher that day than when I placed the order. Also, my bank charged me 2% for the currency conversion. No customs fees and I got the stuff in like 3 business days.

I've done plenty of business with them and have never had any problem with them. Now I have never ordered any bike parts or stuff like that, instead I always have ordered clothing from them. They have a great selection of Pro teams stuff and that's what I like about them. Haven't ordered anything from them in a while, but I to noticed that they offered stuff at much cheaper prices than other places did, so that's why I ordered from them, plus they got clothing that I wanted much earlier from them than I did from other sources...So I think they are good to deal with..

How do they send their packages in the U.S?, I ordered from them a couple weeks ago, and they said they sent it on the 10th of Jan., but I still have recieved nothing! :mad: I am getting really frustrated with them,a dn I hipe this is only an isolated incident because their prices areawesome.

Well my clothing always came in a small blue colored "soft" package...I think it is some kind of international mail..They normally say to wait at least 14 but sometimes as long as 20-30 day's to get the stuff..But every time I ordered from them, I had it within 7 to 10 day's or less sometimes....Hopefully as you say, this is an isolated incident..

Be patient, it'll come.

Good prices and good product, I received my clothing roughly 10 days after ordering.

Do they send their packages through USPS? I ordered pedals, and shoes the other week so I don't think they will just send it in a blue bag. When I emailed probikekit, they said they sent it standard air freight (dues to price?), and to call my local Post Office. I called my post office, and they said packages like that may take up to 14 days, and sometimes 20-30! :(

This really stinks because with all this warm weather in PA right now I really want my new sidis! I am guessing maybe they got held up in customs, becuase probikekit said they sent it out on the 10th, so it will be 14 days tomorrow..... ::fingers crossed::

No I don't think they use USPS specificaly, but that is who brings the package...International air freight like you said, is the way they do it, so that sounds right......Yep, they'll come..

I know what you mean about the nice weather there domestique, over here in Michigan, we're having unusually warm weather also and it's nice to get out and ride!!
