help me decide buying..

my LBS is selling a brand new seven alaris with triple ultegra group, mavic pro wheels, seven fork, stem and seat post for $3400. is this a good deal or am I getting ripped off?

and you need three and a half thousand dollar bike for what exactly?

I saw someone commuting on a Seven last week....

not for commuting. i want a bike/frame that will be my last :)
