Question about the real time chat??
 

I'm somewhat new to the forum, but I was wondering if there are ever any scheduled real time chat sessions, or if there has ever been any thought given to starting one.

Alright, I know I already posted on this already, but I thought that maybe not enough people were able to view it before it got buried with the other posts in this forum, but I was wondering if there are ever going to be, or if there already is, a schedule time for the real time chat feature. Anyone out there with any thoughts on this subject?

There has been many attempts to get people chatting, and there is never a scheduled time that a group is in it. It really sucks that we have the feature.........but nobody uses it........get a damn clue people**********?? Maybe people just dont have the time........who knows

We used to do a lunchtime chat at another site. If you had access to a computer during the lunch hour you would pop in and see who else might be in there. No structure, just chat about whatever.

Since it's always lunchtime somewhere in the world, and this site has cyclist's from nearly every country / continent, conceptually there would be somebody in the chatroom nearly all the time.

I'm usually near a computer during lunch every weekday except Wednesday. Hope to see somebody there between noon and 1 PM EST.

I have used the chat room at forms, and its fun. From time to time you do run in rude people, but what the hell the world is full of rude people. How about jest setting a time and date for a chat room?

Sounds good to me, anyone have any suggestions??

Unable to get in, could be the corporate firewall, ah a challenge, I'm going to keep working at it ;)
