There is a link to neiman marcus. Now being a canadian and being that i have never been to a neiman marcus. I have to question. 1 Is there such thing as an all wheel drive drive bike. 2. Is this how much they go for. 3. How does it work 4.Anyone ever been to neiman marcus Thanks |
Neiman Marcus is a first class store.
You need a BIG checkbook to shop there. I've seen this (or a similar bike) in some magazine adds. Don't remember them being that expensive. For $4100 you can get a really nice bike and IMHO this one isn't it. :D |

Here's a chance to pick one up "cheap" at Ebay.

The bike itself isn't a bad bike, and if the bike pictured is the one you get, it's a really good deal. But, the description doesn't match the picture. Caveat Emptor! The pic shows XTR cranks, and the description states LX/XT.
The suspension design is a 4-bar linkage, but note that the rear pivot is on the seat stay, not the chain stay, so it's not a Horst Linkage, (not fully active). This design will "brake jack" while applying the brake on descents, the bike will buck! Don't know about the AWD aspects. L8R |
I guess what i am getting at is what turns the front wheel. and i had a little interest in the other questions
|
The front wheel is driven by a flexible shaft that runs through the frame, from the crankset to the front hub. Check out the Christini website I mentioned above.

I looked at the website and read the literature they provided. I refrenced the picture and can't still picture it.

For many, many years I have heard the store in the original post referred to as Needless Markup.
Cheers...Gary |
