Boston Bike Show
Anybody here ever go to the annual Boston Bike Show? If so how was it? My wife and I are going for the first time this year, and we're traveling about 130 miles, from the Berkshires, to get there.
It's on March 10, 11 and 12.

I was there the last two years, and I won't be attending again. Not really worth it. I definitely wouldn't travel all the way in from the berkshires, but if you were already in the city, and wanted to go...
The show is rather small, mainly just to look at bikes, not really a place to score a good deal on a bike or parts. Fun the first time I went, but I don't think I'll be attending again.
Good luck finding parking anywhere near the expo.
ps. here's the site, with a coupon to print out!

Well we went, and B Fixed was right on the money. It wasn't worth going to. We already had a couple of those coupons and used them for the Fri. night $5.00 deal.
We went to the show just for something else to do while we were there. It was really a birthday weekend for my wife. Stayed at the Fairmont Copley Plaza Hotel (free parking) and took advantage of the Restaurant discounts that many restaurants were participating in during that week.
OoOoOo....did you make it? And where in the Berkshires and what type of riding do you do?

Drove to Alewife and took the red-line to Park Street and walked from there - what a nice day to be outside - lots of people thinking the same! (should have been on the bike!). As BostonFixed said, the show was very small - I think the whole thing could have been done in less than half-an-hour. If I'd known, I might have gone for a ride instead. Got a brochure and some loot - had late lunch at Picco's - lousy service, but the food was OK. Overall, I think I would sooner have been out on the bike…
