Swap meets
Hello,
Was looking for possible swap meets around the Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, and Iowa area. If you know of any websites that have such listings that would be great or can send directly to tpaulsonmx@yahoo.com
Thank you

I have heard good things about police auctions. Like finding a Reynolds 531 frame in a pile of Walmart bikes. The good thing about police auctions is that it is legally yours then, no worry about receiving stolen merchandise (even if it was originally stolen
).

You've already missed a few big ones this year in Madison and the Twin Cities, but the Twini Cities Bicycling Club is having one on April 15th. I've never been to this one, so I have no idea how big it is. Here's a link to their page about it: https://www.mtn.org/tcbc/swapmeet/index.htm
As a response to not finding any good scores at swaps, you really need to go with an idea of what you're looking for. When I go to a swap with no agenda and just to "check it out," I typically come away empty-handed. When I go specifically looking for several things, I'll usually find at least a couple.
