I went there this summer for their mechanics course. Really enjoyed it.
Anyone else go there?
anyone in the professional mech or framebuilding course in early August?

Not yet, but I'm registered for the Professional Repair class running from 31 July thru 11 August. From what I've heard, it should be lots of fun.
I'm hoping to squeeze in a tour of the Bike Friday facilities (Eugene, OR) during the weekend, since I'll be in the area... well, compared to Kansas City.

MattP went there, I believe. Might have been one of the other places, though.

Hi, I attended the mechanics course 2+ years ago and really enjoyed the class and people. Bought a road frame from Mike DeSalvo while in Ashland and used the knowledge from the class to build the new bicycle the next spring.

I never got a chance to meet mike, saw him around the school though. The frames that students made in his class turned out amazing.
