Holiday tree

We went to pick out our Holiday tree today. Because of recent snow we took the mountain tandem and not the recumbent. On the way back we stopped at a donut shop for hot coco. Nice day to be out and about.

Mrs. Johnson down the street from you is missing a Noble Fir from her front yard and is pissed.

She knows it's you.

Next time do it under cover of darkness.

Happy Holidays.

For several years already I do not buy fir trees, because I want trees to be there where they belong.

I even stopped to buy fir branches for Xmas. I can make a room look like Xmas without a cut down tree.

Trees are our frineds.

Let the trees breed!

Dude chill, trees are a renewable resource. That one most likely came from a tree farm not an old growth forest. Now I like trees more than some, but please pull the pine cone outta yer butt and let the man enjoy his tree.

If it was grown on the farm, I would not mind that this farm turns into a forest for a change. So far forests are mainly being destroyed.

Majority of Xmas fir trees are predatorily cut in the woods. If we buy these trees we support this irresponsible market.

Sorry. I can not resist it again.

Let the trees breed!

These are the words, which the founder of Sierra Club said before his death.

I agree that trees are important to our world and need to be treated with respect. But I think if that tree could talk, after he said ouch, he would say that he's honored to provide Christmas cheer to a family. Especially a family that went through the trouble to bring him home on a bike.

OK, to clear the air, The tree is from a tree farm. I worked on the farm in high school, may have even planted that tree. The family that owns the farm has managed the farm for three generations. And I'm sure they will for generations to come.

My Great Grandfather owned thousands of acres of land in New England. He bought most of the land after it had been clear cut about 100 years ago. At that time is was worthless. Now most of his land is protected, some is managed forest. There is even a few aces of old growth left standing. Trees are a renewable, if managed correctly resorce.

I guess its like fur coats, I don't think its right. But if you want to wear fur, to each there own.

If your looking for a good training aid, try towing a spruce tree, not the most aero thing on the road.
