Funny interaction...
 

Pulled up to a stop light the other day and these two grizzly looking guys in a Bronco pull up next to me. The passenger looks over and says "Is it a Hemi?".(or whatever that commercial says) I laugh and say yes, followed by a challenge to race. I couldn't tell if they were full on mocking me or if there was a bit of comeraderie involved in it. Made me laugh though.

I can't find the thread right now, but someone else reported a similar incident a few months back. Unfortunately (or fortunately), the OP in that case had no idea what a "Hemi" was and was afraid he'd just been insulted somehow. So he asked the guys in the truck, and they proceeded to have a long conversation about car engines vs. bicycling horsepower. :)

He said it was the most pleasant driver-cyclist interaction he'd ever had, if I recall correctly.

I haven't gotten that question yet. Sometimes at night kids will pull up next to me at a traffic light and start revving their engine while grinning at me. I'll lift my back wheel and spin the pedals around a bit.

Light turns green, they fly off, I fly off as best I can, they get stopped at the next light and I fly by them just as the next light turns green for me.

Stupid mouth-breather "hemi" chrysler piece of crap commercials. I'm so sick of those, and even more sick of the people who aspire to be mouth breathers too.

My fave funny interaction was when I was cycling by a Sorority house at the local U. (I'm a geezer), and a guy cuddled up on the front porch with his girl yelled out "Hey, Lance!" After laughing, I pointed at them and yelled back "That's My Daughter!" They both cracked up...

What the heck is a mouth-breather?
How can one not be a mouth breather? Only breathe using your nose?
That saying is puzzling. I must be getting old

Medically, you are correct. However:

mouth-breather. n. "a stupid person; a moron, dolt, imbecile." English Pejorative Slang.

The original definition of "mouth-breather" referred to a person that, due to medical problems (usually with the sinuses or nose), was forced to breathe via the mouth. This leaves the jaw hanging open at most times, which has a tendency to make a person look "dopey" or "spacey".
