Livingston, MT?

Anyone have any experience riding around there? I kind of have a job offer there, and it seems like it might be a good idea (my mom, sister and neice live in Bozeman, and my dad and brother are in other towns in MT) since it would be more money than I'm making here. Since MT is a LOT cheaper to live in, that kind of seems like a no-brainer.

Would I be able to get by with a geared road bike, or is turning into a mountain biker pretty much my only option? I'm pretty sure that my track bike won't be of much use...

I know it's pretty touristy, being only 50 miles from yellowstone... So probably anyone that's ridden there that's on here would have been there on vacation, but has anyone lived there? How is it?

Thanks for any info. I'm emailing my resume on Monday, and hopefully could be moving out there in a few months...
