Purchasing? To customise or not?

Just wanting some advice to help me with purchasing my next bike. I am looking at the Felt F55 (7005 aluminum with Dura-Ace components) which I belieive from my research to be a good value for money bike. It's weak points, I've read, are the non Dura-Ace brakes, and the Aksium Race wheelset. Should I be looking at a bike in the next bracket or is it worth spending the extra (pre delivery) to upgrade the F55?

The only thing you're paying for with higher gruppos is weight savings. Unless you're racing, this isn't going to matter much, especially given the price increase from 105 -> Dura-ace.

It's not just the initial purchase cost, the cost of all consumables are higher as well.

105 or Ultegra is good, and you can use the money saved to upgrade the wheels. If you do that at the time of sale; the dealer should cut you a nice deal on new wheels to
close the sale.
