what if you're going for someone of the same sex though? do men who like men like men on bikes? |
definitely cool, at least I think so.

Like many said, be who you are :D

I think it's inspiring and powerful to be who you want to be.
Anyway, picking from a list of "allowable" choices dictated by society isn't exactly being crafty or original, you've already learned to conform without realizing you're doing it. Now, purple spiked hair OTOH, I think that's really cool! :) |

And stuff that typically attracts the opposite sex will actually be a turn-off/competition to the same sex.
The heck with "cool." Nerds rule! :D |

I'm a dude, but why the heck shouldn't a girl (or woman) get irate at you for saying that? If a woman said "All men are beer-drinking, powertool-loving, domestic abusers (well the ones who are seeking "mating partners anyway, it's trophy-hunting and machismo, always been that way always will). If you're a boy don't get all irate at me for saying that, but it's true!" would you say, "Oh, that's true! Guess I won't get all irate, then," or would you, in fact, get all irate about it? Why or why not? Would the fact that it is most patently not true have something to do with it? For some reason, there are all different sorts of men, but women? All the same, every one. And all bad. What utter nonsense. All you guys "quoting for truth" should be ashamed of yourselves. You probably know plenty of women, all of whom are different, all of whom care about different things in different degrees. You KNOW this, but for some reason you still buy into this nonsense? Why? Yeesh. On-topic, coolness is in the eye of the beholder. I happen to like the way I look on a bike, usually with both my pant legs rolled halfway up, my plaid flannel shirt flapping in the breeze on either side of my messenger bag. No doubt most of the people I see don't have any opinion either way, some small amount see me and think "dork," while a very tiny number of the people I pass everyday might think, "hey, he looks cool." But probably not, and even if they do or don't, who cares? Not me, I'm riding my bike, and that's cool enough for me! :D |

I don't worry much about fashions or whats cool. Whatever you buy today will be out of fashion in 6 months. So, whats the point unless you like to spend money. Conservative is the way to go for clothes. |
Cool is cool to the beholder. I don't find what a lot of people wear cool, but I don't judge them on that. I wear what I wear because it is comfortable...if someone thinks I look good at the same time, yehaw...score for me,
