New cassette and chain question?

I just got my cassette and chain replaced on my bike, and it's running fine and all, shifting well, but when it's running it's ... kind of loud. Like, "clickiclickiclickih" while I'm pedaling, and I'm wondering is this just because the components are so new? Will they settle down with some more riding?

It shouldn't do that at all. Is the chain properly threaded through the derailleur?

Sounds like the derailleur just needs a little adjustment.

/\/\/\ X2. Needs little adjusting, that is all.

I take it to LBS1 to get it adjusted, and then to LBS2 to get it replaced, and now I have to take it somewhere again for more adjustment? I just can't win.

Or is adjustment I can do on my own? (bearing in mind my limited experience).

If you can read and operate a multitool, you can adjust it.

www.parktool.com repair section.

Check and check. Thank you. :)

Actually if you can read, and turn a cylindrical device in your fingers you'll be ok. you just have turn a barrel device on deraileur to adjust it.

Does it happen in every gear combination? Sure it's not just a little trim adjustment?
