Question for San Diegans
Anyone in San Diego (or familiar with San Diego) have a recommendation for a good wheel builder? Since I bought my rockhopper in March there have been 5 or 6 incidents of broken spokes on the rear wheel. The shop where I purchased the bike rebuilt the wheel and this solved the spoke problem for a record 3 weeks, eh. Needless to say I'm tired of this problem and want to take the wheel to a good wheel builder and have them rebuild it and put some better quality spokes on there.

I hope Quality Bicycle Sales & Service is not the shop you had trouble with. It was the one shop in San Diego recommended by a custom frame builder I contacted. The shop assembles bikes from scratch around the new frames for local customers. Ask local racers about them.
