Bike Storage
Question about bike storage for those of you who actually are not riding 24/7.
I live in a Condo and do have a garage which I use for my car, tools, etc. I usually keep my bike on the side of the car which has about a two foot clearance to the wall. This forces me to constantly move the bike out of the garage, and then back again, when I need to use the car.
I have room at the back corner of the garage to hang the bike vertically where I would have easy access and would't have to move it all of the time to get into the car. So my question in a nutshell is this. Over the long haul would there be any damage to the wheels trueness (is that a word?) by having the bike hang vertically?

nope, none at all. how much does your bike weigh? how much do YOU weigh? now think how much strain hanging the bike by its wheel will put on that rim - it's not much.
When I lived in an apartment, I had all my bikes hanging, bike hooks are a glorious thing.

Sorry if I offended you. Appreciated your comments and was just trying to add a bit of humor since Seinfeld always had a bike hanging in his apartment. Guess it didn't work.
Again, sorry.
