brooks adjusting problem
Hii folks,
I have a Brooks Professional leather saddle. Good product. Problem is, I can't seem to tighten the adjusting bolt without the whole screw turning with it. And holding the screw with a simple pair of plyers doesn't really do much, except for leave nasty marks on the screw. What sort of silly design is this? Isn't there some halfway intelligent way of turning the bolt and making the screw stay in place so that the desired adjustment takes place? getting angry at an otherwise admirable piece of saddlery---- me. thanks for any input, btw. |
Are you talking about the bolt that clamps the saddle rails to the seatpost, or the tensioner bolt up at the nose used to "stretch" the leather?
