That worked well.....................Not
Seen my 1st Biachi in person today Can't miss that green It was Ulocked to the guard rail on the back porch area at work (Big Hospital) As I got close I saw they had electrical tape over the headtube badge and the name on the downtube Only thing I could think was trying to hide it was a classic/higher end bike by hiding the name brand . I knew what it was from 100 ft away so the tape didn't work

I first read that as unlocked. I was thinking I wouldn't even walk near an unlocked bike. Because someone will take it... and I will have been seen or video recorded looking it over.
I often search Craigslist looking for old classics. You might find yours (your future bianchi) there.

I had a handlebar bag that rubbed on the headtube. Should have taped it up earlier.
Was the bike Celeste? Hard to hide that.
I wonder why the owner didn't just buy a lock, or did they have one hidden that you didn't see.

The bike was locked securely with heavy u type lock and maybe a cable through the front wheel. I have to travel through there working . It was a steel bike . They had tape over every identifying decal. Anyone who knows much about bikes could tell it was a Bianchi their green is pretty unique . By the way I have on several occasions pointed out to security that a nicer bike has been someplace out of the way long enough that they need to look into why. I know at least one was returned to it's rightful owner . To me it stuck out like putting a Chevette sticker over the corvette emblem on a Vette
Just struck me as humorous

I thought Colnago where unicorns until I saw my first Colnago bike a while back. The guy riding it now comes to our group Friday rides.
