"Email Notification" is what you should be looking for. Is it not there at all?

Shokhead, you can turn off ALL subscriptions in your User CP. The quick reply is for thoes who want to get in a fast comment, you can still use the traditional reply form by clicking on the "post reply" button.

Greg, no, subscriptions are set wtih your user CP, I have mine turned off, if you have yours on, you will be subscribed to the thread when you use the quick reply. By using the advanced reply page, you have the option at that time to turn off subscriptions. I'll add the old subscription link soon, i need to find the correct code
Shok, I'll see what i can do.

You were already there and didn't know it!
Don't feel dumb, I did a little headscratching to figure out what CP was too! Correctly Political? Canine Police? Carbon Paper?

I cannot find a way to subscribe to threads any more anywhere nor when I reply or start a thread does it subscribe. Also I still am getting email alerts even though I have checked the no box in my options
