Big Nose Whippers bike got stolen on tour
MAN that sucks!
He handled it well though. Had himself a new bike built for $85 in just a few hours.

The fact that some numbnut can come along and steal a bike like this without feeling they did anything wrong is very troubling.

If you had time, you could probably get the bike back, it's still a pretty small town... unless some jackass out of towner loaded it in his truck and took it with him down to Phoenix....

of all things that *could* make a trip go south, this has got to take the cake.
I can't even imagine having my bike just gone like that while in a store.

Bah... what really sucks is that I know right where he was at, and I know which neighborhoods to go looking for the damn bike, too. I'd probably find it... might take a couple days.
I hope the jackass that stole it gets hit by a car.

It's the kind of place where your reputation and your family's reputation is remembered...
I very rarely find a business owner that doesn't know either me or someone in my family personally.
(Kind of makes me feel famous!

Anyway... some people may not believe in Karma, but I do... eventually there is a price to pay for everything we do, whether we pay it while living or after death, there is a price.

And yeah... I wander the forums... I've even got a couple posts over in the 50+ (Though I'm not even close to that age yet!

I mostly stick to the commuter and mechanics forums, though... where I have a little experience!
