Yes, there are many recorded cases of Mom's or bystanders
suddenly having "super" strength to lift cars or other objects
off children or others in time of emergency. The body can, at
times, make enough adrenelin to power a "one shot" lift in
times of stress. The fella in this story was a Clydesdale
anyway to he had a good measure of the strength available.

It's nice to read when others care enough to get involved to help.

Reminds me of a video I saw many years ago in which a man lifts a crashed helicopter off of his friend. The man doing the lifting was very large.
