Jerks!!!!

The Mrs. and I commute daily.. some of you may remember that we full-time RV, thus are bikes are our sole means of transport once we park the bikes. Well tonight after getting off shift the Mrs. went to ride off on her bike and lo and behold the rear wheel won't move. I check the brakes.. they seem fine but one caliper was sticky..hmmm so I unhook (I'm there cuz' I ride the 5 miles to her work so that she doesn't have to ride home alone at night) the rear brake and give it a spin... bent like the hind leg of a dog. Some SOB dove their car into it when it was parked and locked. Exactly HOW they did this is sketchy but for certain some idiot dove into it when it was locked to an enormous power pole AND behind two steel posts. I checked the frame as well as I could thinking (dreading) they didn't smash it. It seems OK.. but of course it's hard to tell... no scratched paint to speak of. The wheel is out of true enough to lightly kiss the frame as the tire goes by. I think.... maybe, LOL a good shop could bring the rim back to life (mavic ###) but the problem is that there ae no good bike shops very close... and of course we NEED the bike tomorrow afternoon. JERKS JERKS JERKS...
Of course the Mrs. is really bummed out as we just dumped a bunch of $$$ on a new seat, tires, stem, and some cycling shorts. So... now I'm searching the net for some good quality wheelsets.
Doug

That sucks Doug, but think about it this way: that clown's time is coming and he's gonna get it three times as bad as you folks did.

I'm willing to bet that some chicken choker just walked by and with nothing else to do probly kicked it hard enough to put the wheel out of true! This kind of behavior is all too common!

I've noticed that on occasion. It's just a shame that some people really have no lives of their own and have to resort to trying to ruin others'.
