Im waiting for the person that hates cycling and swimming, but participates just so they have an excuse for waxing or shaving.

I shave because I went on a 75 mile ride in the middle of a heat wave this summer (110-115 degrees). Got dehydrated and when I got home, my legs cramped up. I put racing stripes into my leg hair as I tried to massage them. The pulling of the hair hurt more than the cramps. Shaved them that night. Not a big deal.

Shouldn't this be in the road forum? This leg-shaving malarkey seems to be the domain of a niche within a niche.

I don't shave, wax, pluck, or rip out anything anywhere at any time for any reason. It took a long time to grow this stuff. Why in Hell would I want to remove it? I do keep the more aggressive fur trimmed back with my semi-annual visit to Steve the local barber. He keeps after me to come in more than once every 6 months. Says the mess I leave when he's done is just awful.

Just curious what do you use to trim the hair shorter. I am WAY to hairy to consider shaving without getting horible stubble and ingrown hairs but i would like to keep it under control. Is it just a buzzer with a short attachment?
