King Cobra or Sidarm

I need a couple bike racks for the top of my car and I can't decide between the Yakima King Cobra or the Thule Sidarm. I like the sidearm because it looks easier to use but I don't know if I like the idea of the clamping hook bearing against my brake calipers.
Which rack is easier to use? They seem to cost about the same.
