Calling Veloswap Veterans

I am headed to veloswap in Denver,CO for the first time this year and am wondering what kind of deals I can anticipate. I am in the market for a specific new bike that I have in mind and perhaps a new winter jacket. It seems reasonable to believe that there will be a diverse selection of bargains in a free-for-all mad-house environment (especially in the am). Can any veloswap veterans help prime my expectations? Curious. See ya’ll there!

Bring LOTS of cash and RUN! You have to pass many deals and try to spot what you are looking for FIRST!
Then go back and look at everything else. You will inevitably find many things you didn't know you wanted. And be sure the Mrs. knows how much $ you are taking. That way you are less likely to get SHOT upon returning home with a carload of "stuff"!!
Good luck & enjoy!
p.s. Best deals are usually gone in the first hour or so.

OH, and don't forget to HAGGLE! It's a swap meet!
