I just hit 400 posts!
I have posted 400 messages since I first came on in October, 2002. For sure, this must be some kind of all-time record, and entitles me to some kind of special award?

Congrats on the 400 posts. You indeed are a wordy person and are hereby presented the "gabby" award.
Hey - I just noticed you were from Somerset, KY.
My wife has a bunch of relatives in Somerset and Science Hill. Her mom was from Science Hill. We visited there a couple of years ago.
Denver Hislope - who owns a funeral home or two and a big copying place in town, and the family who owns an antique emporium. Cousin Joanne Hislope who plays the piano like nobody's business.
The family name for my wife and her mom was Swearingen, and the cemetery in Science Hill is filled with Swearingens.
What I remember most about those two towns:
1. The bike shop in Somerset had closed and gone bankrupt.
2. I saw no one on bikes except a few kids.
3. Many, many folks were just a bit overweight.
4. No one walked, they rode in their car from one place to another.
But, I probably had a biased viewpoint. Please tell me the truth!!
