Ever heard of this bike?

On my way home, I found a bike frame in a pile of free stuff on the sidewalk. It has a few stickers that say "Pacifica", and one that says "Bridgestone Posts and Tubes". It has horizontal dropouts and serial number "7B63307", if that helps.

Is this a Pacifica model, manufactured by Bridgestone?

Is it a Wal-Mart bike?

Thanks for your help.

A couple of internet pages seem to indicate that it's a vintage road bike.

E.g. here:

CINELLI 58cm full dura ace, immaculate with extra set of wheels (tubular) 1400. TREK 1500 (sort of) 56cm cc, sante and 600 ex equipped. beautiful yellow, excellent condition >looks new 650.00 BRIDGESTONE pacifica, 54cm full dura ace, also in immaculate condition 650.00
I don't think Walmart bikes have dura-ace components on them. But then, I wouldn't 100% trust a random classified ad either.

If this Pacifica is a large AL tubed mountain bike or commute cruiser, then it was sold by Walmart and Costco for a short while.

Well, I'm not very bike savvy (at all), so I can't tell what kind of bike it was (remember, I only found the frame). I'll take it to my LBS tomorrow.

Aha! It DOES seem to be an old road bike, as chephy thought.

Scroll down on this webpage to "Bridgestone", and the 2nd listing has the frame I have (same color scheme, too). I wonder what just the frame is worth?

Thanks for your input chephy and froze.

By large AL tubing, I was referring to the tubes diameter. The Walmart and Costco bikes used a large diameter AL tube that was almost square in shape, and was nude with just the Pacifica decals along with some other decals. Obviously this is not the one you have. The Pacifica you have represents a model name not the brand name, Puch also used the same model name as per the web you gave.
