Bicycling Mag.

Has anyone tried the cheap subscripion to Bicycling Magazine offered on e-bay? It seems like there is more to it than meets the eye.
While I'm not a big fan of the Mag., for that price I would subscribe.

I get free subscriptions from LAB, Nashbar, co-workers, etc.
The last time I paid for a subscription was in 2002.

The price at the library is better.

I haven't tried it but I already have a subscription. The magazine has gotten old and redundant for me so I won't renew the subcription.

I got 2 years for $1.99 and free shipping. The mag aint bad, specially while your on "el throne"

By the way, there is one auction on right now for a full 4 year subcription for just 6.99. Thats a deal of the century. 44 issues = 6 cents per issue?

That's $0.14-0.16 per issue, depending on if there's 11 or 12 issues per year. About what it's really worth. After all, it's mostly ads, with a few recycled (pun intended) articles on various subjects. I dropped my subscription when they changed their format 6-8 years ago and have never seen a reason to go back.

I but all my subscriptions off eBay, including Bicycling (its a decent product overview but not much more). So far I have Rolling Stone, Spin, Bicycling, and about four other mags for around $5 ea for multi year subscriptions. No complaints so far.

I got a 4 year subscription and it took a couple months for my first issue to come in. Pretty good deal, I would just make sure the seller has a 99%+ feedback.
